Darker Realms has three main entrance areas, which offer unique starting
experiences.  They all eventually connect to each other, and you can switch
between them at any time by logging out and back in and choosing a different
option (you will drop any equipment when you logout, but will keep your
coins).

'church' -- Choose this for the full retro experience.  This is the starting
area common to all LPMuds, open since 1990.  Newbies, grab a sword from the
Newbie Bin and head south to Fred's Newbie Palace.

'newland' -- The first addition, across the sea, with larger areas, but still a
very classic feel.  New players, step outside the newland temple and follow
the graffiti to a grassy area designed for you.

'arnisdale' -- A town to the far south on the newland continent, with more
modern attention to detail.  Home to the Arnisdale Adventuring Academy, our
most polished educational experience for new players.  Head to the east edge
of town, or just go there directly by entering the game via 'academy'.

Whichever entrance you choose, once you enter, type 'help start'.
